Starting a Case (Support, Custody, or Divorce)
Depending on the type of case you are trying to create, there are different ways in which a case can be made.
Support
If you are on public assistance:
- Contact your DHHS worker.
- Fill out the IV-D form and mail it to the address on the form.
- Apply on the website.
- Follow the instructions for custody and file a motion for child support.
If the parents were not married:
