Live Scan Fingerprinting

Live Scan fingerprinting is available for approved purposes only. Our Corrections staff provide Live Scan services 24/7 at the Mason County Jail:

Before Live Scan fingerprinting can be completed, you must first visit the Mason County Treasurer’s Office at the Courthouse to pay the required fee. Prices vary depending on the fingerprinting purpose.

You must bring these items to the Treasurer's Office:
• The employer‑provided form indicating the correct fingerprinting code
• Payment for the required fee (cash, check, or credit/debit card; card payments include a 3% or $2 fee)

After payment, the Treasurer’s Office will issue a signed receipt.
Live Scan fingerprints cannot be completed without this receipt.
Please bring the receipt, your fingerprinting form, and valid identification to the Sheriff’s Office.
