Victims' Rights
Being a victim of a crime can be a scary and confusing life experience. Thankfully, the Mason County Prosecutor's Office has experienced, and compassionate victim advocates available to help you. The primary goal of a victim advocate is to help victims regain a sense of confidence that their lives can once again feel normal and safe despite the crime that was committed against them. Importantly, an advocate can explain the court process to you and make you feel more comfortable going through it. Knowing and understanding the steps that will occur assist in removing the anxiety that frequently occurs in traversing unfamiliar situations. Remember, we are here to help.
